Traduzione: Dio, c'è questa testa di cazzo lì fuori, Mike Patton. Mi imita. Imita chiunque. Quel basso nano figlio di puttana, era ad ogni mio show durante i 90. Scrisse su Wire che io non improvvisavo. Ci ho riso su. Vado sul palco completamente "vuota"(libera da pensieri), e per quello che faccio devi essere vocalmente molto intonata. Ci sono tutte queste persone che vanno semplicemente sul palco e producono solo strani rumori, fanno quello che possono fare per finire la loro performance, e ok. Ma per me (è diverso), io devo fare fraseggi, e destreggiarmi tra un belcanto o suoni multifonici e tutte queste altre cose, e non posso semplicemenre dirmi "Oh passerò dal falsetto al tenore a parti polivocali", non posso ragionare così quando sono sul palco. quindi devo essere ben pronta, e la tecnica è buona(funziona), non posso avere un sacco di pensieri per la testa. E (quando ho la testa comletamente libera) vado semplicemente sopra il palco e suono. |
