i messaggi di prima erano presi dalla mailing list di Zorn: quella di Laswell giustifica in questo modo, per fortuna...

CITAZIONE
Just sent this to the zornlist where there was relevant complaining.

To those who booed after the Paris PK and complain how intolerable
they found Bill Laswell, please note these points: The most important
issue at the moment is that Bill recovers his health. It deserves
much respect and gratitude THAT he played at all and under what
conditions. Numerous hardships - sickness, lost gears/instruments in
the flight transfer from Italy where they had played in tropical
temperature, no time for real soundcheck rehearsal, complications
resulting from changes of personnel etc etc. I am personally very
very sorry for having witnessed the embarrassing moments at the
beginning and the admittedly poor rest of the show -. Knowing mostly
every earlier PK gig from either attendance or recording, this was
obviously not at all level with gigs played recent years, so the
artistic value isn?t great - but the gig had an immense symbolic
meaning, with Mick Harris doing the drums at all again. Please note
also that Bill rendered the most impressive performance the night
earlier in Ferrara with Massacre. Measured even against the many
other superb Massacres, Painkillers, Materials etc other superb
things, this was yet again higher greater dimension. Thank you, Bill
Laswell.
