Cercando un pò di info sul grande Billy ho scoperto un pò di cosucce :woot:

Oltre alla sua etichetta discografica (piuttosto interessante) che conosco già da tempo e della quale conosco anche un paio di gruppi; ai Castro Sinatra , sorta di reincarnazione dei FNM di cui si parla da anni ma della quale non si è visto (ne sentito) praticamente nulla; a "Calling Dr. Love" dei Kiss, riproposta insieme a Maynard dei Tool e Morello e Brad Wilk dei RATM, sono venuto a scoprire altre cose.
La sua "prestazione" più recente è la riproposizione di "All Along The Watchtower" di Jimi Hendrix, insieme ad altri ospiti, realizzata per l'ultimo capitolo del videogame "Ghost Recon".

E poi Gould ha fatto parte anche di un supergruppo con brutalloni norvegesi

, i Black Diamond con Torgny Amdam degli "Amulet", Satyr Wongraven dei "Satyricon", Tarjei Strom dei "Ralph Myers And The Jack He" e Knut Schreiner dei "Turbonegro".

Non riesco a capire se abbiano fatto un album intero o no, io ho trovato solo un pezzo, "Diamond Brigade", e mi pare di capire che abbiano fatto solo quello.

EDIT: Il gruppo si chiama "Blak Diamond Brigade" e il pezzo è "Black Diamond", cover dell'omonimo pezzo dei Kiss.

Former FAITH NO MORE bassist Billy Gould has issued a statement
regarding his upcoming stint as touring guitarist for the German heavy
rock/noise trio on their European tour.

Gould last year finished producing HARMFUL's follow-up to their "Sis
Masis" album (2005) at Blubox Studios in Troisdorf, Germany. Entitled
"7", the CD is scheduled for release in February.

Commented Billy: "Originally, I decided to produce the band because I
liked the music. Once we began working together, I realized that we
had a lot in common, musically speaking. I think I can actually make a
positive contribution here. What excites me about the band is the fact
that it is straight-up with no pretense, while managing at the same
time to throw in some beautifully twisted chord progressions. I
haven't done anything like this for almost 10 years, so this will be
an adventure for me too, and isn't that what it's supposed to be
about? Besides, this is a great band, and if my involvement helps them
to expand beyond Germany, then it's totally worth the effort."

certo che piazzarlo alla chitarra è uno spreco...
non mi pare molto invecchiato in dieci anni,se ricordate i video tipo ashes to ashes... nel pezzo,gli Helmet ce li sento eccome...

però che peccato,il mio bassista preferito segregato a fare la 2^chitarra...

a prescindere da tutto un genio,era lui la mente dei Faith No More,però ovviamente l'arrivo di Mike ha fatto fare il salto di qualità al gruppo...

ma Billy Gould non stava coi Brujeria?? Sotto lo pseudonimo di Guero Sin Fe?? Forse sono rimasto un pò indietro...però mi ricordo che nelle stupide descrizioni delle case discografiche(fatte solo in base alle band in cui avevano militato i membri) si diceva sempre che i brujeria erano l'unione tra i napalm death, i Fear Factory e i Faith No More; la cosa in effetti era piuttosto comica.

queste sono le tipiche cose che mi fanno incazzare...dico porca madonna, com'è possibile che separati, a volte suonano canzoni di FNM e non si riagruppano e ci fanno un favore?
avevo sentito qualcosa del suo nuovo progetto, ma come diciamo gli argentini "non m'ha mosso un capello"

a me non dispiacciono gli Harmful, "7" lo sto ascoltando moltissimo questo ultimo periodo.....

Non è niente di eccezionale, però ha dei bei pezzi..... Avessero solo osato un pò di più in cattiveria, avrebbero potuto tirar fuori un discone....
