Visto che nella sezione "Faith No More" abbiamo parlato di Bill Gould, perchè non parlare del mitico Trevor quì?
Penso che sia uno dei migliori bassisti/contrabbassisti che ci siano nel mondo, in quanto vanta fraseggi jazz stramalati uniti ad una tecnica ancor più malata!! w00t.gif
Ma ho un quesito che mi assilla da quando ascolto i Mr Bungle:
che cacchio di basso usa Trevor??

Comunque mi pare che nel primo album usasse un Fender P-Bass

poi è di dominio pubblico che utilizza un "coso" elettronico per abbassare di una (o più?) ottave il basso....

dici il whammy pedal? Non sapevo lo usasse...

Con i Fantomas usa l'accodatura BEAD sul basso a 4 corde.
Buzz invece accorda la chitarrra 2 toni sotto ('ci sua...) biggrin.gif

In the early days of Mr. Bungle he played a Ibanez bass built sometime in the 1980's, and later on, he used an Alembic 5-String and a double bass. He mostly uses a 1975 Fender P-Bass tuned to BEAD for Fantômas. He plays double bass with Trevor Dunn's Trio-convulsant.

Di niente! Ma ti consiglio lo stesso di andarti a leggere la Q&A del suo sito, dovrei troverai un sacco di altre informazioni, come gli effetti, gli amplificatori, l'approccio che usa per scrivere le canzoni, etc....

E lo spartito con tablatura di Dead Goon

usa quasi sempre il plettro con i Fant.. a volte anche le dita però...

Comunque con i Fantômas riesce ad esprimere meno del 10% delle sue potenzialità... è un pochino sprecato in quella sede, l'ho sempre detto....
